Sally Carson

INTERIOR DESIGNER & STYLIST

Sally has over 25 years of experience as an interior designer and stylist.

Sally was born in northern NSW and raised on her family’s sheep and cattle property. After studying in Sydney she spent the first 10 years of her career in the fashion industry where she lived and worked in New Zealand, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Sydney.

A love of interiors, and design in general, led Sally to pursue further study and in 1997 she established her own interior design and decorating business in Sydney. 

Since 2000 Sally has called Queensland home, where she now operates from a studio in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane.

Sally’s country upbringing and the fact that she lives and works in a semi-rural setting have a great influence on her work.  She is drawn to natural materials and earthy colours and believes that interiors should reflect their location whether it be by the coast, in the country or a more urban setting.
